UPDATE September 25, 2023:
Ontario’s school and child care specific COVID-19 online self-assessment tool has been replaced by the general self-assessment tool. Individuals can take this NEW Screening Tool if they have symptoms of illness or test positive for COVID-19. It is important to carefully read and follow the instructions provided with the screening result. Anyone who is feeling sick or has symptoms of illness should stay home and seek assessment from their health care provider if needed.
Thank you for your ongoing support as we strive to keep our YMCA Child Care and Early Learning environments a safe, happy, and healthy place to learn and grow together in play.
Early Learning and Care
The YMCA is a non-profit charitable organization providing opportunities to grow in spirit, mind and body. We’ve been providing children and families with high-quality programs and services for over 50 years.
Our licensed early learning and care programs offer families a variety of child care choices, including centre-based, in home-services and our school-age clubs serving children from infancy to 12 years.
Our highly trained early educators and physical literacy specialists partner with parents to support each child’s development and provide families with the security of knowing their child is in a safe and nurturing environment during these formative years.
Our programs put the interests of your child as its top priority and we understand that parents are their child’s best teacher. We hope that your journey with the YMCA provides you and your child with lifelong memories.
Our programs and services are grounded in the YMCA Charitable Purpose, Vision and Core Values of:
- Caring
- Inclusive
- Responsible
- Honesty
- Respect
- Collaborative
