In light of the recent announcement by the province, the offices of the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario Employment & Immigrant Services of Sudbury will continue to provide services remotely via telephone, email or virtually. The offices will remain closed to the public during the regional shut down. We continue to serve employers, job seekers and newcomers remotely.
We will continue to seek guidance from our local District Health Unit as we monitor the COVID-19 situation. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.
YMCA’s Immigrant Services has been helping Newcomers settle into the Greater Sudbury region for more than 10 years. Our multi-lingual Settlement staff work collaboratively with community partners to help you build a personalized settlement plan, responsive to your needs.
Moving to a new country can be both exciting and challenging. Canada is a democratic and prosperous country that welcomes thousands of Newcomers each year. As a result, the Government of Canada has implemented many services and supports to help Newcomers navigate their new Country and their new home.
The YMCA of Northeastern Ontario’s Immigrant Services is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services – Citizenship and Immigration Division.
