Important Member Update
Dear YMCA Members,
As an Association we strive to offer and maintain the very best facilities, staff, programs and services to our members.
In the past year the Association has been able to reinvest in the facilities. The Sudbury YMCA saw a pool refresh, including a new pool liner along with replacing much of the underpinning pool mechanics. The North Bay YMCA saw renewal of the cardio equipment; and both YMCAs’ are currently implementing new technology that will improve the member experience.
To continue to operate and reinvest in our facilities we will be increasing our membership fees effective April 1, 2020.The team have worked conscientiously to keep fees competitive within the market while still ensuring that no one is turned away due to their financial circumstance. The change in fees are in relation to increases in overall operating costs, including; cost of supplies and utilities ongoing maintenance/equipment repair and replacement and ensuring our staff are paid a fair and equitable wage. The fee increases will be implemented on your first payment after April 1st, 2020. The fee chart below is expressed in a bi‐weekly schedule.
At the YMCA, no one is turned away because of an inability to pay the full fee. If you believe you may qualify for financial assistance, please contact our Member Services team. YMCA donors and partners help make it possible for the YMCA to provide financial assistance. If you have any questions about these changes, please contact Kendra MacIsaac, General Manager of Health, Fitness & Aquatics at 705‐674‐8315 ext. 7311 or kendra.macisaac@ymcaneo.ca.
Thank you for being a part of our YMCA.
Sincerely,
Helen Francis
