Use your proactive client support skills and ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment in this challenging role with the Process and Operations Branch, OPS Service Centre, where you will be part of a strong team delivering front-line support for a range of corporate business programs and systems.

You will: • provide advice on requirements and procedures for processing and completing transactions in accordance with policies and programs related to human resources, finance, purchasing, and other corporate support business initiatives; • provide front-line technical advice and support on business applications and software related to purchasing, finance, and human resources; • troubleshoot and resolve issues, and prepare reports; • process service order requests in a timely, responsive manner; • support new programs and systems development.

How do I qualify?

Technical Knowledge:

• You have experience applying directives, policies, and procedures related to corporate support programs (e.g. human resources, finance, purchasing) in order to assess and respond to client inquiries and resolve problems.

• You have knowledge of and experience with application software related to corporate programs (such as IFIS, WIN, or another similar payroll, human resources, or financial information systems). • You have knowledge of computer systems technologies and peripherals including operating systems, LAN/WAN and or telecommunications networks, personal computers, diagnostic and security software, and recovery procedures to resolve front-line technical issues.

Customer Support, Interpersonal, and Communication Skills:

• You have strong interpersonal skills to work co-operatively, provide client support and work in a supportive team environment. • You have demonstrated knowledge of and the ability to apply customer service principles, practices, and techniques in a client service environment. • You can communicate effectively to provide clear detailed explanations of business processes and procedures both verbally and in writing.

Analytical, Judgement, and Problem-Solving Skills:

• You can research and acquire knowledge of new business lines in order to support customers and develop and implement troubleshooting services. • You can analyze systems and software problems related to corporate support programs. • You can independently resolve customer inquiries related to programs, policies, and procedures.
