Currently Technica is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team as a Helpdesk Analyst located in Sudbury, ON. The role of the Helpdesk Analyst is to understand the primary
functions of networking and support to end users. This up and coming professional will apply and build upon their knowledge to provide technical support to over 300 users by
troubleshooting and resolving reported issues. The key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Provide technical support to end users by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues reported through helpdesk management system
  • Support the process of configuration, maintenance and upgrades to the corporate technical fleet (mobile devices, laptops, desktops and servers)
  • Install and integrate new hardware and applications
  • Support and administer third-party applications
  • Timely escalate critical issues internally with 3rd party support teams
  • Manage user accounts, permissions and passwords
  • Continuously monitor performance of systems
  • Assist in the execution of planned updates, upgrades and roll outs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary graduate of Information Technologist Program or equivalent
  • Must be fluent in English, both oral and written, French language fluency is considered an asset
  • Proven work experience in a helpdesk role, or similar
  • 1-2 years’ experience providing IT support to end users is an asset
  • Previous experience supporting Microsoft Software, Mobile Apps, Apple iOS
  • Ability to work flexible work schedule to accommodate server maintenance/updates/upgrades and unforeseen issues
  • Willing and able to undergo pre-employment testing as a condition of employment
