Job Description
We are currently looking for outstanding individuals to join our team at McFadden. We have immediate openings for industrial media blasters, painters, and helpers.
We’re seeking experienced individuals who are willing to continuously develop their skills to comply with client needs as well as best practices.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a variety of industrial sandblasting and painting equipment
Wear correct personal protective equipment at all times
Maintain detailed job logs for each shift
Maintain a professional demeanor
Track expiry dates of licenses/indocs and notify staff when expiry date approaches
Observe all site specific safety protocols and report concerns
Qualifications
Minimum “G” class License (“DZ” License holders given preference)
Knowledge of Safety procedures associated with media blasting, industrial painting
Ability to work extended hours/shift work
Able to work to the highest standard of safety
Ability to work on Vale properties
Preferred Qualifications
NORCAT
Tier 2 Surface and underground indocs (site specific indocs considered an asset)
Transporting Dangerous Goods
First aid/CPR
Knowledge of media blasting techniques
Knowledge of Industrial vacuuming and high pressure washing techniques
Knowledge of industrial painting practices
Forklift operators license
Any other mining or industrial cleaning related qualifications or experience deemed relevant.

- Day shift
- Night shift
Experience:
- Industrial Painting: 1 year (preferred)
- Sandblasting: 1 year (preferred)
