Currently we have an opening for an IT Systems Support Student. This is a student position for the
summer of 2022. In this role, the IT Systems Support Student will be responsible for assisting the IT
Systems Technician with staging PCs and providing troubleshooting and technical support crossfunctionally within Sandvik.

What you will be doing:
• Assisting the IT Systems Technician with the hardware and software setup of equipment for new
hires
• Supporting a wide variety of requests and communicating frequently with different teams both
online and in person
• Working alongside the IT Systems Technician to assist with routine PC maintenance
• Overseeing the PC inventory system and assisting with shipping of new equipment

What you will bring along:
• Working towards the completion of post-secondary education in an IT related discipline
• Familiarity with Windows 10, Citrix, Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Teams
• Strong communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Bilingualism will be considered an asset
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
