Photography Studio Assistant – Helga Himer Photography
Employment Status: Part-time, 6-month contract with the opportunity for an extension
Compensation: $14/hour plus bonus potential
Hours of Work: 10-15 hours per week, may include some evening and/or weekends
Key Job Duties:
• Client relations
• Email correspondence
• Proofreading/editing text
• Managing social media
• Data entry
• Assisting in the studio- housekeeping, preparing and tearing down sets
• Occasional photography session assistance
• Other duties as assigned
Essential Skills:
• Fast learner
• Works independently
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Strong attention to detail
• Organized with excellent time management skills
• Training will be provided
Experience Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Marketing and/or sales experience is considered an asset
• Graphic design experience is considered an asset
• Work experience in a small business is considered an asset
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
• Pet-friendly home-based business
• Mild to moderate level of physical activity that may include; sitting for extended periods, standing,
walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, etc.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs
Technology and Equipment:
• Excellent computer skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient with social media and email
