Mr. Lube

Position:  Mr. Lube is seeking a full-time, permanent Upper Service Technician.

Availability: Monday to Sunday. Mornings and Evening.

Experience Required: Automotive Service Environment

Security and Safety: Must have own safety boots black in color

Candidate must meet the following criteria:

~A desire for long term career growth and potential
~Valid Class G License with clean abstract
~Clean Criminal Record Check
~Mechanical aptitude
~EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SKILLS
~Mechanical experience
~Able to work flexible hours
~Ability to retain detailed product information

The Upper Technician at Mr. Lube has complete ownership of the customer experience. Not only do you work directly on a customer’s car, but you are in control of the entire sales cycle; from walking a customer through the services on a car to completing the sale. Reporting to the Supervisor. the Upper Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Customer Service Duties:
~Greeting customers
~Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to customers, discussing products and services with customers
~Provide recommendations base on vehicle assessments
~Suggest new products and services; upsell, make suggestions to customers
~Working with a close knit team and communicating with Lower Technicians
~Offer all required and recommended services/products that can help customers solve their problems and make their lives a little easier

Mechanical Duties:
~Oil and filter changes
~Replacement of vital car fluids
~Replacement of parts under the hold
~Refill performance enhancers to ensure the vehicle runs smoothly
~Perform courtesy checks on all vehicles

Additional Duties:
~In-store general maintenance and shop-keeping duties
~Received and warehouse stock orders
~Display inventory
~Maximize sales opportunities over the long term of the store

Salary Rate: $14.50 per hour
Hours Per Week: 30-35 to start. 40 after probation
