Facebook Giveaway Contest Rules

Official Rules & Regulations

1. Eligibility

  • This contest is open to legal residents of Ontario, Canada, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
  • Employees, board members, and immediate family members of the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario are not eligible to participate.

2. Contest Period

  • The contest begins on March 22, 2025, at 1:00pm EST and ends when the first six eligible participants have commented.

3. How to Enter

  • To enter, participants must:

    1. Be one of the first six people to comment “YMCA Camp” on The Sudbury Five ticket giveaway post.

  • No purchase or donation is necessary to enter or win.

4. Prize

  • The first six eligible participants will each receive a pair of The Sudbury Five game tickets to the March 22, 2025 game. (approximate value: $26 CAD).
  • The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. Winner Selection & Notification

  • The first six eligible participants to comment will be the winners.
  • Winners will be announced in the comment section of the post and contacted via direct message.
  • Winners must respond by 4:00pm EST to claim their prize, or the next eligible commenter may be selected.

6. General Conditions

  • This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook. By entering, participants release Facebook from any responsibility related to the contest.
  • YMCA of Northeastern Ontario reserves the right to disqualify any participant who does not comply with these rules.
  • By participating, entrants consent to YMCA of Northeastern Ontario using their name and/or photo for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
