Home Support Worker (Live-In)

🕒 Full-Time – 30 hours/week
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate live-in Home Support Worker to assist a senior in a private household in Cornwall, Ontario. Accommodation is provided, including a private room within the home, with no deductions from wages. Meals are also provided.
The successful candidate will support daily routines and help maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive home environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide medication reminders and assist with daily routines
- Assist with mobility and light exercises (e.g. walking)
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist with feeding if required
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain an organized living space
- Provide companionship and general home support
- Occasionally accompany employer on short trips within Canada to ensure continuity of care
Requirements:
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient
- Comfortable working in a live-in environment
- Able to work independently and provide attentive care
- Flexible availability for occasional schedule adjustments and travel
- English required; home care experience is an asset
- No degree required
