NAPA Auto Parts Sudbury is a fast-paced, team-focused approach auto parts business that is:
• Seeking an energetic and hardworking individual for a full-time Auto Body Paint Sales Specialist position
Job Description:
Paint Sales Specialist responsibilities:
1. Establish yourself as your customer “go-to” auto body paint expert by bringing a dynamic mix of technical knowledge, business acumen, and a thoughtful customer approach
o Prepare paint orders; paint tinting, mixing, and matching
o Deliver and put away paint orders to customers; including weekly orders to North Bay
o Maintaining paint supplies including inventory counts
o Tracking of credits from supplier to store or customers and completing these tasks in a timely manner.
2. Develop and cultivate relationships for new business, and existing accounts, in order to increase profitability and sales growth
o Visiting current or new shops regularly
o Ensure market growth through effective account prospecting and increasing purchase orders
3. Maintaining a clean paint area and paint booth; including following Health and Safety regulations
Other responsibilities:
• Counter Part Sales:
o Helping customers (face-to-face and by phone) and/or other team members find auto parts
o Operating a cash register and navigating computer and paper catalog systems
o Working towards continuous improvement with our in-store processes and procedures
o Tracking of credits from supplier to store or customers and completing these tasks in a timely manner.
• Helping team members to maintain and clean an organized retail area
• Knowledge of email platforms, copy scan equipment, and ability to email thoughtfully, complete communications with varying devices (phone, text, email, Microsoft teams)
• Delivering parts; vehicle provided
Qualifications
• Effective relationship-building skills that include excellent communication, speaking, and listening skills
• Strong analytical skills that include effective problem-solving and identifying opportunities for success.
• Motivated to train and learn
• Ability to thrive and have fun in a busy, fast-paced, team-oriented retail environment
• Knowledge of cataloging AND/OR inventory management systems considered is an asset.
• Experience automotive part industry is an asset. Will train highly motivated person.
Additional Information:
• This position reports to the store manager and wholesale team.
• This position requires team members to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder and move merchandise (weighing up to 40 pounds – or team lifts when appropriate) throughout the store or at the customer location
• Steel toe, green patchwork boots are required.
• A copy of a clean driver’s abstract will be required prior to the first day of work if you are the applicable applicant.

Salary Rate: Dependent on experience + bonus
