Contract Safety Trainer (NATT Safety Services)

NATT Safety Services is seeking an experienced and reliable Contract Safety Trainer for a casual, part-time role (as needed). This position is ideal for individuals with proven safety training experience who understand the expectations and responsibilities of working as an independent contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver NATT Safety Services training programs (e.g., Working at Heights, Forklift, Confined Space Entry) in compliance with current regulatory and industry standards.
• Facilitate engaging, hands-on training sessions for diverse participant groups.
• Maintain a professional and safety-focused environment during all training sessions.
• Use appropriate training tools, materials, and equipment effectively.
• Build positive relationships with clients and participants.
• Collaborate with the NATT team to ensure consistent and high-quality course delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have prior experience delivering safety training programs
• Strong understanding of the responsibilities and expectations of a subcontractor, including time management, professionalism, and self-direction.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to various client and training environments.
• Flexibility to accept assignments based on demand and availability.

Additional Requirements:

• Must have all necessary legal and business requirements to operate as an independent contractor (Liability or Omissions & Errors Insurance, HST number)
• Access to required training equipment depending on courses offered (e.g., harnesses, CPR mannequins)
• Laptop and projector for training delivery
• Familiarity with NATT Safety Services materials is an asset (training will be provided)
