B. North Contracting Ltd. is a family-owned construction company with over 18 years of experience serving residential, commercial, and institutional clients throughout the Greater Sudbury area. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Skilled Labourer / Renovator to join our growing team.

About the Role

Our projects are diverse and may include:

• Commercial and office renovations
• Residential renovations, additions, and new construction
• General construction projects
• Interior and exterior finishing work
• Building maintenance and repair services
• Carpentry, framing, drywall installation and repair
• Painting, flooring, trim, doors, and finishing work

No two days are the same, providing opportunities to gain experience across multiple areas of construction.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous construction, renovation, or related trade experience
• Take pride in delivering quality workmanship
• Be dependable, punctual, and ready to work
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Be willing to learn and develop new skills

Experience in any construction-related trade is considered an asset.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s licence
• Reliable vehicle and transportation
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Clean criminal record
• Construction safety certifications are considered an asset, including:
  • Working at Heights
  • WHMIS
  • First Aid/CPR
• Professional and respectful attitude when working with clients and coworkers
