THE ROLE:
Bloom House Cannabis Co. is looking for a Cannabis Pre-Roll Technician to join our team!
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old and have reliable transportation
- Must have excellent attendance and professionalism
- Must have computer literacy skills
- Ability to focus during repetitive tasks. Hand and finger dexterity required for extended periods.
- Consistent hand-eye coordination and excellent attention to detail
- Demonstration of solid math/reasoning skills, and takes initiative when performing daily tasks
- Must be a team player with a strong spirit of cooperation and the ability to communicate
- Must be willing and able to follow Standard Operating Procedures accurately and adapt to changes in processes as we grow
- Experience in Cannabis Industry working for a Licensed Producer considered an asset
- Post-secondary education in cannabis/horticultural considered an asset
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for hard-working, reliable, driven individuals, with good communication skills, who like working with a team to accomplish goals and are willing to work in other areas of our facility, if necessary.
- Work along with the Pre-Roll manufacturing team for efficient pre-roll production, packaging, labeling, and sanitation
- Precision weighing, packing, and crowning of pre-rolls
- Prepare material for production, processing, and assembling cannabis and materials to form pre-rolls, weighing it on a certified scale to the exact weight and placing the product in appropriate bins/bags/storage
- Packaging and labeling products to quality standards
- Ensure all Pre-Roll manufacturing processes are followed according to prescribed SOP’s while also identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies
- Logging weights, counts, and waste on respective tracking sheets
- Tracking/tagging and handling of products in accordance with Health Canada guidelines
- Sanitation and maintenance of personal workspace and tools
Salary: $18.00 -$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend availability
